What we do

Capabilities

Six practice areas, staffed as one team. Most projects use more than one.

Practice areas

  • Data engineering

Moving data from where it is produced to where it is used, in a form that agrees with the system of record.

    • Ingestion and pipeline development
    • Warehouse and lakehouse modelling
    • Lineage, data quality tests, and reconciliation
    • Migration off legacy ETL and stored procedures
  • Machine learning & AI

Applied work on your own data. Every output can be traced back to the record that produced it.

    • Retrieval and question answering over internal records
    • Document extraction and classification at volume
    • Forecasting, risk scoring, and anomaly detection
    • Evaluation, monitoring, and human review
  • Analytics

Reporting, and the definitions behind it, documented so your analysts can extend it.

    • Metric definitions, agreed and written down
    • Dashboards and operational reporting
    • Self-service models for non-technical users
    • Analyst training
  • Cloud & DevOps

Environments that can be rebuilt from source, with the controls a security review asks for.

    • Cloud migration and landing-zone design
    • Infrastructure as code
    • CI/CD with automated testing
    • Logging, monitoring, and documentation for authorization packages
  • Custom software

Applications for internal users, and integration between systems that were built separately.

    • Internal web applications and operational tooling
    • APIs and service integration
    • Workflow automation over existing systems
    • Section 508 conformance
  • Records & docket analysis

Large volumes of regulatory text processed in full and made searchable.

    • Docket, filing, and public comment processing
    • Structured extraction from unstructured records
    • Change tracking across document versions
    • Written analysis with citations to the source

What you receive

  • Infrastructure as code for every environment.
  • Architecture and data-flow documentation.
  • Runbooks for deployment, backfill, recovery, and access changes.
  • Test suites and monitoring on your CI, with alerts routed to your on-call.
  • Handover sessions with the people who will run the system.

Scope

We take on work defined by a system or a decision, not by headcount. We do not resell software, host what we build long term, or provide staff by the seat. If a request falls outside that, we will say so early and point you somewhere better.

Federal · State & local · Utilities · Enterprise · Nonprofits

Together, we get the work filed.

Send a short note about what you are working on. We reply within two business days.
